My Bio:

I started my journalism career with the BBC World Service Trust in India in 2001. Working for the BBC, I produced a radio show called ‘Chat Chowk.’ The main objective of this weekly Hindi language show - a youth entertainment program - was to spread HIV/AIDS awareness in India’s most populous state, Uttar Pradesh, which is home to over 160 million people.

After two years working for the BBC, I moved to the U.S. to join my wife, where I worked for local radio stations as a news writer and producer. I have also been producing short features for a locally based podcasting company, The Charlottesville Podcasting Network, since it was launched in 2005.

For the past two years I have been regularly producing short features for a Virginia NPR affiliate, WVTF and PRI’s The World.
